Graduate Teaching Assistant - SEN
Location: Washington, Tyne
& Wear
Salary: £75 - £100 per day
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Are you a compassionate and dedicated graduate with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs (SEN)? GSL Education are looking for Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in SEN settings in Washington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist SENCO and teachers in implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
- Help create inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive.
Requirements:
- A degree in education, psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with SEN is advantageous.
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards supporting SEN students.
Please be advised that these roles require a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
