Groundworks Supervisor

Full Job Description

Activus Recruitment are sourcing a Groundworks Supervisor to join our clients team based in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role will require regular travel to sites across Scotland and occasionally the UK.

Key Duties:

* Managing a team of Groundworkers, Labourers and subcontractors.

* Managing various tasks including drainage, concrete, pit installations, slabs, kerbs etc. to a high standard.

* Ordering Materials.

* Ensuring all plant and equipment has been arranged.

* Operating plant.

* Working to programmes and deadlines.

* Ensuring health and safety is in place and adhered to.

* Carrying out Quality checks.

Personal Requirements:

* Extensive experience of drainage, concrete and external works essential.

* Supervisory experience and excellent Management Skills essential.

* Good communication skills essential.

* Good attention to detail.

* Ability to understand construction drawings.

* CSCS/CPCS certified preferably with experience operating 180 and 360 excavators, dumper and roller.

* Clean driving licence.

* Must be willing to travel throughout Scotland.
