Maldon Partners are recruiting a Group Client Money and Assets Oversight Manager on a permanent basis for a market leading Fintech based in London.

The firm has been around for over a 20years however has recently launched a new platform in which their clients can trade across multiple asset classes all from one place.

The company prides itself on treating its staff well as shown by the fact that many of the C-Suite employees have been with the business for over 10years. This role is also available due to an internal promotion.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a CASS Oversight function and managing CASS Teams.

Hybrid working 3 days in the office

The Role:

The main purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of Client Money and Assets (CMA) Safegarding for all of the firms regulated entities.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• To be the subject matter expert on CMA and be the main point of contact for the Executive Board, Audit Committees and Senior Management
• Develop and maintain the governance framework to ensure full compliance with CMA regulatory requirements in all jurisdictions.
• Manage the Client Money Team and ensure the accurate and timely production of their deliverables on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Manage the client money audits for all regulated entities
• Ensure timely submission of the CMAR and other CMA related submissions.
• Contact for regulators
• Oversee All appropriate training
• Creating and maintaining policies and procedures
• Provide technical advice on CASS
• Ad hoc projects

Experienced Required:

• Extensive knowledge and experience of CASS governance (CASS 6 & 7) in a similar financial services/securities institution.
• Experience of managing CMAR Audit relationships
• Previous team management experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with boards of directors
• Demonstrated understanding of FCA rules and regulations
• High degree of computer literacy in MS Office (Excel must be advanced with ability to use look ups and pivot tables).
• Experience of the CASS Oversight Functions (CF10a) DESIRABLE

Salary:

The Group Client Money and Assets Oversight Manager role has a base salary of c£100,000 - £130,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits and bonus package
