Full Job Description

Job Profile Summary:

The Group Tax team is seeking to recruit a Group Tax Senior Analyst to support across all aspects of the corporate taxation of the group, including transfer pricing, tax compliance and reporting, as well as coordinating technical employment tax issues.

This role will include an interesting mix of compliance, provisions and reporting, tax projects and advisory, process improvement and business partnering from a corporate tax perspective.

Accountabilities :

Duties may include but are not limited to working closely with other members of the Group Tax team on the following:

  • Working with our worldwide tax compliance outsource providers to ensure timely submission of all corporate tax returns on a global basis. To coordinate provision of high-quality data and tax technical analyses required. First review of all returns prepared by the advisor.

  • Assisting with year end and statutory accounting tax provisions

  • Managing withholding tax obligations eg treaty clearances, certificates of residency etc

  • Assistance on wider corporate tax projects.

  • Assisting on TP projects including documentation.

  • Co-ordinating international employment issues as they arise, including obtaining advice from our Big 4 advisors, considering any employment obligations or PE impacts.

  • Working with share scheme team on deferred awards for cross border workers.

  • Preparation of the PSA return and management of IR35 position

  • Experience gained in a Group tax function in a large/medium sized practice background or inhouse (preferably Financial Services sector)

  • Understanding of IFRS Tax accounting requirements.

  • Very proactive with a willingness to learn.

  • Excellent excel skills and analytical skills, and ability to manipulate large amount of data.

  • Good communication skills.

  • High level of attention to detail.

  • Keen on automation.

  • Strict observance of procedures and protocols.

  • Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and liaise with external advisors.

  • Qualified accountant or CTA qualified.

  • Experience of Workday Accounting systems and OTP would be an advantage.
