Avatv are proud to be working in collaboration with a leading airport consolidation centre based in West Drayton

• Role: HGV 1 Driver
• Location: West Drayton
• Shifts: Tuesday - Saturday
• Hours: Day 06.00am - 14.00pm (OT Available)
• Pay Per Hour:
• 17.85 - Mon - Fri
• 19.75 - Saturday
• 20.75 - Sunday
• Minimum hours guaranteed: 7.5

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliveries of Airport retail goods around Heathrow Airport Terminals
• 3-4 Waves to Heathrow
• Includes hand-balling assisting with and ensuring the safe loading/unloading of products
• Ensuring the safe delivery of products from the handling unit to designated location in line with health ans safety and security process and procedures
• Checking and completing delivery paperwork
• Conduction vehicle checks

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
• Ability to deal face to face with clients and handle any initial queries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Good communication skills, ability to liaise with central office where required.
• Reliable and flexible with a can-do attitude
• Enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently

• Must successfully pass driving assessment with client
• Aviation industry experience (preferred)
• Must have 2 years' experience in HGV 1
• Full licence with maximum 6 minor points
• No major endorsement codes
• Valid CPC / DIGI
