HGV Class 1 Driver

Full Job Description

StaffCo Direct acting as a recruitment agency, are actively recruiting Class 1 Drivers days and nights for one of our extremely well-recognized client based in Scunthorpe.

We are looking for highly motivated, flexible drivers who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in supporting our client’s day-to-day operations.

The job:

• Shifts Monday - Friday
• Occasional Weekend Requirements
• This is ongoing work.
• 10-12 hour shifts
• You will be responsible for making sure all delivery logs are signed and accounted for and the role will require you to be well presented, polite, courteous and to represent the client and StaffCo to a high standard at all times.

Remuneration:

• Days - £16.56
• Nights - £18.04

Requirements:

• HGV class 1 driver - Minimum 12 months on licence,
• Minimum 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO,
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes) for insurance purposes,
• Previous experience is desirable but not essential,
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
