Role Overview: As a Driver and Chassis Controller, you will handle the movement of vehicles around the company site and to various local destinations such as paint shops and testing facilities. This position offers the opportunity to work in a steady and supportive environment, contributing directly to the production process of industry-leading vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Movement: Transport vehicles to and from subcontractors, testing sites, and within the company premises as required for production processes.
• Vehicle Inspection and Management: Perform initial inspections and manage the booking process for new chassis deliveries. Organise vehicles in the production yard according to the production schedule.
• Maintenance and Safety: Regularly check vehicles for any damage, manage battery maintenance, and ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with various driving and vehicle management tasks as needed, contributing to smooth operations and meeting production timelines.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Essential: Clean HGV driving licence.
• Desirable: Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office. Forklift licence is a plus but not essential.
• Personal Attributes: Highly organised, conscientious, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
