HGV Mechanic
45,000 with OTE of 60,000 and great benefits package
Longcross, Surrey

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join an expanding company that has achieved listing on the London Stock Market. The company in question has big development plans due to the continued growth of the Film and TV industry and company acquisition.
As HGV Mechanic you will have the following responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspections to DVSA and FTA standards
- Fault finding, repairs & servicing of commercial vehicles and trailers
- MOT preparation to DVSA standards
- Vehicle servicing to vehicle manufacturing standards
- Completion of all relevant paperwork ensuring that all work undertaken is compliant
- Use of diagnostic equipment
Ideally you'll have:
- 2 years' experience as a HGV Mechanic (Post Qualification)
- "Time Served" mechanic status or possess City & Guilds 1,2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent with experience and have a technical experience in HGV and trailer servicing and repairs
- IT Literacy
- A high level of communication
- Basic knowledge of computers and fleet diagnostics
- Good organisational skills and ability to be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
