HGV Technician (Workshop and Mobile roles available)

Salary: Up to 55k
Contract Type: Permanent
Work Schedule: Various shift patterns available 

We are currently seeking dedicated HGV Technician / Mechanic to perform essential maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles UK wide. This HGV Technician role is vital for ensuring vehicle reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• As an HGV Technician, conduct routine maintenance and repairs in line with VOSA standards on trucks, trailers and vans
• The HGV Technician will perform diagnostics and defect rectifications.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections is a key duty for the HGV Technician.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and inventory, a responsibility of the HGV Technician.
• Will involve working on double decks therefore knowledge of double/moving decks will be required
• Vehicle inspections
• Vehicle diagnostics and mot preparation

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline is preferable for an HGV Technician.
