Position: HGV Workshop Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles with a focus on senior-level expertise.
- Apply advanced diagnostic skills to efficiently troubleshoot mechanical issues, adhering to stringent manufacturer specifications.
- Proactively respond to emergency call-outs, providing effective leadership during breakdowns.
- Collaborate with the team, offering senior-level guidance to ensure optimal fleet functionality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a HGV Mechanic in a similar role, highlighting advanced proficiency.
- Education to City and Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Possession of a comprehensive set of advanced tools for performing tasks at a senior level.
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
- A valid driver's license and proficiency in using a company-provided van.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required, setting an example for the team.
