Job Title: HR Coordinator
Locations: London – Hybrid Working Model 

 

About the Role


We are searching for an HR coordinator with excellent customer service , administration and organisation skills . You’ll be meeting a wide range of people at all levels, across the business and have the opportunity to take on projects and tasks offering variety and challenges alongside a friendly, collaborative and supportive team. The HR Coordinator is the first point of contact for all HR queries e.g. payroll, references and policies.This  role supports Springer Nature employees throughout the employee life-cycle including taking ownership for transactional administration, managing the employee records in the HR system, enquiry resolution and accountability for HR data integrity.


Role Responsibilities

 

  • Process administration of employee life-cycle events (onboarding – departure)
  • Maintain accurate data in all systems including the Human Resources Information System
  • Delivering new starter inductions and ensuring all documentation is obtained for processing
  • Payroll administration for timely processing eg salaries; managing workload in order to ensure deadlines are met effectively
  • Support a variety of projects in conjunction with the Service Delivery team and HR Managers to support  business needs
  • Support the HR International team through report production and data analysis
  • Enquiry resolution and escalation as appropriate
  • Good knowledge and understanding of HR processes and policies and best practice
  • Note taking at formal meetings, e.g. disciplinary, grievance, redundancy

 

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

 

Essential:

  • Previous administration and organisational experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications 
  • Able to effectively gather and interpret information
  • Able to prioritise and plan work activities effectively
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage sensitive information appropriately and confidentially
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliverables with minimum supervision
  • Able to collaborate with the team and wider business
  • Able to adapt to change
  • Effective time management
  • A Level or equivalent standard of education


Desirable:

  • Exercise critical thinking skills in production and analysis of HR reporting 
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and understanding of proper escalation of queries
  • Demonstrated interest in Human Resources either through study or previous work
