Job Title: HR Onboarding & Compliance Officer
Location: London / Hybrid Working - Some UK travel required
Full time -37.5 hours per week
Permanent
Salary: Up to £30,000 Dependant on Experience

We’re looking for a HR Onboarding & Compliance Officer to join our Talent Experience team based in London, W1.  Our Talent Experience team provide new HCA colleagues with a seamless and personal journey throughout all of their pre-employment checks with us here at HCA Healthcare UK.

As a HR Onboarding & Compliance Officer you’ll assist in the smooth running of the HR On-boarding function by providing a robust and efficient administrative service, in line with agreed KPIs and delivery reflecting a world class organisation.  Ensuring that HCA’s new starters are all on-boarded in accordance to agreed processes and polices and in line with regulatory guidance. 

This role will also support in generating new ideas and initiatives for improvement and you will support the Team Lead with implementing these changes and processes. There will also be a requirement to travel on occasions to our facilities across the UK.

What you’ll do:

  • Be accountable for managing the pre-employment checking process which includes obtaining all relevant checks in a timely manner before their expected start date. This includes references, OH clearance, and DBS disclosure, right to work information, professional registration details, risk assessments and any other requirement as stipulated by HCA.
  • Accountable for managing the corporate induction booking processes, ensuring that each new starter has been confirmed on to a corporate induction session prior to their first day in the business.
  • Accountable for drafting all written offers of employment into an employment contract and offer letter.
  • Accountable for engaging each candidate / employee during their compliance process and actively work to minimise the risk of losing candidates during this time.
  • Responsible for pre-hiring and then fully hiring all new candidates into the current HR system used by HCA to assist with workforce planning.
  • Manage all stakeholders including hiring managers, external suppliers and ensure that excellent customer service is provided at all times.
  • Pro-actively seek to mitigate any potential delays in processing candidates / employee files, seek solutions and keep key stakeholders up to date on any delays in the process which may affect the provisional start date.
