Full Job Description

We’re looking for a HR / People System Project Specialist to join us in Bradford or Reading on a 12 month fixed term contract.  This is hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.

This is an exciting opportunity to support on the successful delivery and ongoing assistance across our HR systems platforms.

Sitting within the People Systems Team, you will work with the HR Systems Manager, ensuring governance process is followed for any system, process and project activity.

What will you be doing?

  • Respond to in-depth specialist customer queries and data issues and follow them through to a successful resolution.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on key Oracle Fusion modules and other HR systems.
  • Work with the People Operations/Oracle ERP teams to prioritise systems enhancements driven by continuous improvement activity or systems issues.
  • Write UAT test scripts and co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing.
  • Maintaining governance library including but not limited to change impact plans, Business Continuity plans and prioritisation matrix.
  • Support cyclical projects to ensure that system impacts are identified and managed.
  • Contribute to the generation and management of the systems roadmap.

We tend to look for people with: 

Essential:

  • Hands on experience in Oracle HR Fusion modules.
  • Experience in reporting, planning, and delivering key strategic imperatives.
  • Breadth of skill and experience in delivering highly strategic projects and programmes.
  • Proficient using Excel and handling data.
  • Ability to influence at Senior Management level.

Desirable:

  • Skilled at managing conflicting priorities.
  • Collaborative with strong team and people development.
  • Functional/Technical excellence.
