H S & E Advisor 

London / Kent

An opportunity has arisen for a HS&E Advisor  to join the team at Galliford Try.

What you will be doing:

We have an opportunity for a Health, Safety, Environment Advisor to support our Building Southern Business Unit.

  • Assist and guide the Team in the development and implementation of industry leading strategies, action plans, policies, standards and initiatives to minimise risk and maximise health, wellbeing, and safety performance.
  • Promote a HSE culture which is consistent with Galliford Try Challenging Beliefs and Affecting Behaviours in all programmes and projects.
  • In conjunction with the Team and operational staff, work to ensure all aspects of design, construction, installation, and commissioning are organised and managed to ensure high levels of safety performance and identify areas for continual improvement.
  • Assist and guide the Team in the development and implementation of industry leading security strategies, action plans, policies and initiatives to minimise security risk.

About You:

  • Relevant HS&E experience in a similar industry. 
  • NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate 
  • Member of IOSH (TechIOSH as a minimum) or IIRSM.
  • GDPR Awareness Training
  • Appropriate CSCS Card e.g. Professional Status Card
