Hard Landscaper – All Levels
Cheshire & Manchester
£21K – 30K doe

FULL TIME HARD LANDSCAPING POSITION ALL YEAR ROUND WORK

Behaviours and Skills
You’ll need to possess a great attitude, a pleasant customer manner, hard working ethic combined with a broad range of landscaping skills to ensure our gardens are constructed to a high standard. Horticultural knowledge would be helpful but is not as essential as experience and the ability to demonstrate initiative.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5 years hard landscaping experience
Organisation, site management and building skills
Systemised and methodical approach
A ‘hands on’ approach to tasks
Ability to take on and accept full responsibility for own actions and those who you work alongside
First aid
CITB/CSCS
CPCS card
FULL DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED
Accountabilities and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Reading construction drawings
* Completion of hard and soft landscape construction to targets
* Excellent communication skills
* Ground preparations
* Laying of patios
* Joinery experience
* Fencing installation
* Planting and bedding
* New lawn installations
* Block work
· Ensuring the health and safety of all site operatives, including yourself. Adhering to company safety policy and procedures and the Health and safety at Work Act

About you:
Have experience in all aspects of the building of residential and commercial landscaping projects

* Must enjoy working outdoors and in all weathers
* Be physically fit
* Self-motivated
* Able to work well as part of a team and on your own
* Have practical experience in the use of equipment/machinery (power and hand tools etc )
* Horticultural knowledge preferred
* Good communication skills
* Professional and polite with excellent customer service skills
* You must be able to work to a high standard, with a keen eye for detail, demonstrating care and thought in the tasks performed
* Conscientious and good time-keeper
