R&D Hardware Production Technician - STEVENAGE

Cytiva’s Membrane Chromatography R&D team in Stevenage is looking for an experienced production technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating Cytiva’s next generation membrane chromatography products for R&D testing and evaluation.

What you'll do

As a production technician you will be expected to work independently fabricating various membrane chromatography products. This requires following established procedures, with attention to detail and a drive to produce quality devices. As well as the above, you to be encouraged to contribute ideas and feedback on your production experiences to optimise processes and help develop QC methods to transfer from R&D to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Following procedures to fabricate R&D membrane chromatography products.
  • Operating equipment, for example: Injection mould press, Silicone rubber moulding, Laser cutter...
  • Performing quality control checks on parts
  • Keeping records of parts made.

Who are you

  • Track record of working in production environment.
  • Experience working in a GLP and/or GMP environment.
  • Experience working with R&D.
  • Independent worker.
  • Hands-on.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team player - you will be asked to contribute ideas.
