Head of Advice and Guidance Operations (HUB Group, Digital Wealth)

Belfast - Hybrid

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with proven experience in advice and guidance in the financial services industry, to  join our business in a period of growth as a new Head of Advice and Guidance for HUB Group, Digital Wealth

Reporting into the Managing Director of Retirement Solutions, you will manage front-line customer facing teams that deliver advice and guidance through phone, chat, and video, as well as working closely with the senior management, customer development, advisors, and technology teams to ensure that our offerings are aligned with our business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the digital advice and guidance strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overall business vision and goals.

  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital advice and guidance solutions, from ideation to implementation, testing, and launch.

  • Support a cross-functional team led by the Head of Customer Development, product managers, developers, service and journey designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including senior management, regulators, partners, and vendors.

  • Monitor and evaluate the operational performance and impact of digital advice and guidance solutions, using data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, standards, and regulations, including data protection, privacy, and security.

Skills and Experience:

  • Significant and proven experience in the financial services industry, with a strong background in advice and guidance, preferably in defined benefits and wealth planning.

  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with a proven track record of delivering successful solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives.

  • Good knowledge of the relevant regulatory frameworks, standards, and codes of conduct for the advice sector.

  • Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in the digital advice and guidance space, as well as the regulatory and compliance landscape

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.

  • Highly analytical, strategic, and creative, with the ability to translate complex problems and requirements into simple and elegant solutions.

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving innovation and change.

  • Technically competent, CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or its equivalent.

  • Qualified to QCF Level 4 and a Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) from an Approved Accredited Body

  • Qualified as Pension Transfer Specialist
