Full Job Description

Our client are a diversified energy and commodities trading company looking to recruit a Head of Compliance for their busy London office.

The business has enjoyed significant success over the last few years and is looking to continue this by growing further through organic means and M&A. They are now looking to appoint their first Head of Compliance to centralise the function. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a best in class compliance and ethics programme. Covering financial crime, client management and any applicable regulations worldwide.

The successful candidate is likely to have 8 years of professional experience in compliance within a shipping or commodities trading environment. It is of crucial importance to them to find someone able to lead a function and develop successful, robust working relationships within the company and with counterparties. Candidates outside of this range and profile will be considered.
