As our client continues to expand, they recognise the importance of adding talented individuals to their team who can bring fresh perspectives and valuable expertise. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future direction of their practice and play a key role in their long-term succession planning efforts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce and develop a practice that complements and enhances the expertise of our client's existing team.
  • Identify and establish a new area of practice that aligns with our client's strategic goals and fosters growth opportunities.
  • Bring international experience to our client, contributing to the development of their international employment practice, which is currently in its nascent stages.
  • Enhance our client's team's expertise beyond High Court matters, particularly in areas unrelated to Professional Indemnity.
  • Demonstrate credibility by coming from a firm with a reputable employment team.
  • Provide expertise in regulatory matters, strengthening our client's capabilities in this crucial area.
  • Offer valuable insights and experience in Financial Services (FS), particularly from an employer-side perspective.
  • A strong ground in partnership would be extremely useful.


Desired experience:

  • A proven track record of success in developing and leading an employment practice at a reputable UK law firm.
  • International experience preferred, with a demonstrated ability to expand a firm's international practice.
  • Expertise in High Court matters.
  • Proficiency in regulatory matters.
  • Experience within Financial Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate partnerships and collaborate effectively with other firms.
