Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communications 

  • Ensure effective delivery of  news and business strategy content to employees in UKISA using all available and relevant channels.
  • Collaborate with the UKISA business, HR and the regional internal communications manager on change initiatives, embedding Chubb culture and driving employee engagement
  •  Manage the UKISA section of the company’s intranet
  • Manage implementation of regional and global internal communication programmes in UKISA

External Communications

  • Co-ordi nating with the regional  communications Manager develop a proactive PR, and social media programme including external announcements and thought leadership activity for UKISA in support of business activities
  • Manage content and ensure timely updates of chubb.com for UKISA country pages
  • Provide communications council to UKISA management team, deal with issue management co ordinating with the regional external communications manager
  • Ensure UKISA compliance with the company’s external communications policies
  • Data – ensure legal, compliance and privacy and security guidelines are followed for all activities in UKISA

·         Marketing

·         Develop marketing plans and strategies for each customer segment and products/services using the full marketing mix to support the business in achieving their business goals.

·  Develop and oversee implementation of integrated marketing campaigns

·         Manage implementation of regional and global campaigns in UKISA

·         Manage broker communications and engagement strategies

·         Sponsorship marketing

·         Oversee corporate hospitality programme

·         Brand – represent the Chubb brand ensuring consistency and compliance with brand       guidelines 

·         Ensure all UKISA marketing assets are uploaded and maintained on Chubb’s digital assessment management platform – Chubb Brand Central

  • Manage the UKISA marketing and communications budget, maximising value for money.
  • Work with procurement and legal to ensure appropriate supplier contracts are in place.
  •  People management – lead, develop and inspire your team of marketing and communications professionals to be the best they can be

To be successful in the role, you are a confident self-starter who can work independently and in a team. You will also be an excellent project manager used to juggling priorities and projects under pressure, able to demonstrate a track record of flexibility and willing to go the extra mile. You have experience in successfully leading and managing a marketing and communications team. You have high business acumen which you can translate into effective communications and best marketing practices, yielding results.

You are curious about our business and a quick learner who can absorb the relevant knowledge about our business and marketplace to translate business priorities into action. As an experienced leader you provide constructive challenge and act as a counsellor and sounding board, you will be adept at managing expectations, guiding and influencing decision-making and taking stakeholders with you. Experience of working successfully in a collaborative international matrix team environment is desirable. You have excellent collaboration skills with colleagues at all levels in the organisation.

Marketing

·         very experienced in leading and delivering marketing communications in a matrixed corporate environment; ideally within the financial services sector or other regulated industries;

·         proven ability in developing marketing plans based on business plans and audiences

·         have proven experience leading a team to the successful completion of marketing program/campaigns from conceptualisation to the achievement of its objectives

·   have experience in both online and offline marketing strategies and tactics 

·         have demonstrated an ability to work with data, manage with metrics and insights; apply marketing technology as appropriate to drive awareness and lead campaigns

·         a strong understanding and experience in content marketing, and applicable distribution channels including use of social media to reach and engage business decision-makers.

·         solid experience in applying brand guidelines with a good sense for presentation, layout and design

·         be familiar with e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AEM, Microsoft Office, Trello, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Dynamics, digital asset management platforms, and Cvent

·         experience of applying digital advertising strategies

·         experience of commissioning and using research (primary and secondary) to direct marketing strategy and planning.

Communications

·         experience in managing internal and external communications

·         proven track record of providing communication counsel to senior management

·         experience in managing company intranet and extranet

·      excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
