Head of Quality Governance - Maternity Services

Full Job Description

Finegreen are supporting a large NHS organisation in the recruitment of a Head of Quality Governance - Maternity Services based in the South East Coast.

This is an interim position for 3 – 4 months initially with a competitive rate.

The post holder will be required to work on site, assisting with the improvement plan for maternity services and holding extensive clinical governance expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• To work under the direction of the Director of Midwifery;
• Efficently oversee the CNST submission;
• Support the delivery of agreed objectives, targets and quality standards, which supports the organisation to achieve positive patient outcomes;
• Develop and ensure all patients receive excellent clinical care;
• Develop positive working relationships with other clinicians and managers to ensure that the  organisation is at the forefront of best professional practice and service delivery;
• No line management responsibilities required for the position.

Successful candidate will have:

• Registered Midwife with the NMC;
• Excellent understanding of local and national issues and drivers relating to Midwifery and the wider NHS;
• Extensive quality governance, improvement, and assurance expertise within clinical governance;
• Strong understanding of the CNST submission;
• Excellent communication and reporting writing skills.
