As Head of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for leading and managing the QA team to ensure the quality and reliability of our products/services. You will oversee the development and implementation of QA processes, strategies, and standards to meet the organisations quality objectives and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic leadership and direction for the aviation quality assurance function, aligning goals with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Quality performance metrics, targets, and KPIs to monitor and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Updated on changes to all relevant aviation regulations, standards, and directives, and ensure timely implementation of required updates to quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Develop a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and compliance assessments to verify adherence to quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform external audits by regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and customers, ensuring timely preparation, thorough responses, and effective corrective action implementation.
What you will need:
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices including Part 145 Safety Management Systems.
  • Extensive experience in quality assurance, quality management, or regulatory compliance leadership roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK aviation regulations (CAA/EASA) and international aviation standards.
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality management systems.
