Alexander Steele Recruitment is excited to maintain its collaboration with an acclaimed premium food business. The business delivers a variety of top-tier products to all UK Retailers. Currently, they are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Professional to head up their Supply Chain function from their site in London.

• Salary is 50,000 to60,000 DOE

What you'll be doing in this role;

As Head of Supply Chain you will be managing the end to end supply chain for the business as well as developing and growing the Supply Chain team whilst ensuring the focus is on building relationships with 3PL providers and internal teams.

Key accountabilities;

• Responsible for the entire supply chain for the business
• You'll need to be able to grow, develop and manage the supply chain team
• Accountable for supply and demand planning and forecasting
• Identify improvements and implement strategies to improve supply chain processes and efficiencies.
• Be able to negotiate contractual terms with 3rd party providers.

What you'll need;

• At least 3 years strong experience and knowledge within supply chain processes in an FMCG business
• A degree in business, supply chain management, logistics or similar
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a great eye for detail
• Great interpersonal skills to confidently manage internal and external stakeholders
• Well organised and proactive with excellent problem solving skills.
