Founded in 2014, Petalite is a second-generation electric vehicle (EV) charging company whose mission is to solve the challenges impeding the roll-out of charging infrastructure, helping accelerate the world’s transition to net zero.

Petalite has created a revolutionary technology called SDC, which is a game-changer for DC fast charging, by dramatically improving product reliability, lifetime, and power scalability.

Petalite is now on the verge of transforming the EV charging industry, as it finalizes its product development and establishes strategic partnerships, before bringing its solutions to market for the first time in 2024.

We are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager to join our team as ’Head of Supply Chain.’

Your responsibilities:

• NPI Supply Chain & Development: Develop new product supply chains and support NPI procurement and tool development.
• Contract Management: Oversee end-to-end contract management processes, ensuring effective negotiation, implementation, and monitoring of contracts for compliance and performance.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Foster alignment and collaboration between procurement, R&D and finance.
• Develop integrated strategies to optimise contract manufacturing processes that align with organisational goals, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs across the supply chain.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with contract manufacturing partners to optimise performance, drive innovation, and mitigate risks.
• Plan for future capacity and supplier strategy and engage in key projects such as the global expansion of Petalite.

Candidates will need to demonstrate their ability in positively handling supplier relationships within a manufacturing/production environment.

A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management is of interest for this position.

We need people with influential communication skills who can build networks and foster relationships across all organisation levels. This role requires a natural collaborative working style demonstrated with internal and external business partners.

Experience in managing electronics and associated hardware contract manufacturers is preferred or experience from other high technology sectors can also be considered.
