Full Job Description

We are working with a highly successful PE business looking to secure someone for a Head of Valuations role.

The valuations team is currently made up of 4 people, and they are looking to bring in a senior hire to initially cover the more complex valuation work, and overtime, take on the management responsibilities. Valuations are done at both company and fund level across their 5 Private Equity funds (they are in the process of closing a 6th- already above target for the fund raise). The fund predominantly targets fast growth firms, in a range of industries including Fintech, Health-tech and pure Tech. You will have regular meetings with the investment teams to discuss performance and as well as working closely with IR and finance. Across the business, they have highly automated processes meaning you will spend more time working on value-add projects, including further streamlining, improving the efficiency of data flows and dashboards.

The client is looking for a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a valuations focused role where candidates have been dealing with a large portfolio of private equity valuations. It is important to be confident speaking to a range of stakeholders and any exposure to systems (they use Power BI and SQL) and project focused work is highly desirable.
