Do you have experience in healthcare and are looking for a change?

Job description:

  • Assisting other members of staff with giving care
  • To promote and assist individuals to maintain their personal hygiene, cleanliness and appearance
  • Assisting the individuals with daily living activities such as eating, showering and using the toilet
  • Utilising equipment to move individuals when necessary
  • Helping tidy the individual’s home or room
  • Taking the individuals vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Talking to individuals and reassuring them

As a Healthcare assistant you will need to:

  • Be able to effectively communicate with individuals
  • Have compassion, empathy and understanding
  • Have a positive friendly energy
  • Reliable
  • Wear a uniform
  • Undertake any other appropriate duties as required by the individual(s) that you support, perform all duties in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
  • Be aware of, and follow the procedure for, reporting any safeguarding concerns or incidents, keep accurate records
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the individuals you support and your colleagues
