Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter looking for a rewarding opportunity that offers workshop engagement? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Heavy Plant Fitter, responsible for both on-site repairs and workshop maintenance. This role will be primarily based in our Birmingham workshop.

Location: Tamworth - Workshop

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary: 35,000 - 37,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of heavy plant machinery and equipment in the workshop.
• Undertake mobile repairs and maintenance at various sites as required.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of heavy plant equipment.
• Perform inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter, with a solid background in heavy plant machinery maintenance and repair.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of heavy equipment.
• Relevant technical qualifications in heavy plant machinery maintenance or a related field.
