Higher Education Provider (HEP) Liaison Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HEP / Liaison manager to join our team.

Sympathetic to the unique needs of students with disabilities and with an in-depth understanding of the role of the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) within the sector, the primary responsibility of the Higher Education Provider (HEP) Liaison Manager will be to identify, foster, develop and maintain excellent ongoing relationships with universities and colleges UK-wide (including Northern Ireland) The post will involve liaising with Disability Advisors (DAs) and key academic staff to gather information and maintain a database of in-house support, academic course information, and reasonable adjustments to add value to the customer journey.

The role is homebased however a flexible approach to the working week will be required from time to time as travel will be required to targeted HEPs within the region.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with HEPs to gather information to support the DSA process. 
  • Gathering quality and timely data from the HEPs, essential for building on a customer's current strategies.  
  • Proactively demystifying and promoting awareness of the benefits and scope of DSA support to enable disabled students to be better supported to achieve their academic potential. 
  • To promote DSA support, experience of preparing and delivering engaging presentations and workshops for various audiences including key stakeholders, prospective DSA customers/ applicants, and internal staff is necessary.  
  • The quality and timeliness of the HEP data gathered is paramount to the DSA process, one that is underpinned by an inclusive environment and building on a customer's current strategies.  
  • Working as part of an experienced organisational team, the HEP Liaison Manager will act as a resource to our DSA Assessor Team

  • Willingness to keep up to date/actively informed of trends and developments with the DSA sector
