Full Job Description
What we need:
Our client are a busy local
authority responsible for over 9000km of public highway across the
county. We are assisting them to find a full time Arboriculture
Officer.
What you will do on the job:
This will be focusing specifically on managing the Ash tree
population affected by the dieback disease and removing where there is
a risk to collapse on the public highway.
This will mean
travelling the councils highway network and carrying out inspections
on all Ash trees identified and managing accordingly.
This will be
for one full time , full time is 37 hours per week.
What you will need to succeed:
·Level 4
Certificate in Arboriculture or QCF equivalent.
·Previous
experience in Arboriculture inspections
·Experience can be gained
from a previous job or during education
·Must be qualified to
Level 4 in Arboriculture
·Must have own vehicle and licence
·Must be happy to work outside in various working conditions.
·Fulfil the travel requirements of the post and be able to carry
out site visits and inspections at locations across Hampshire,
sometimes in hard to reach areas.
Desirable
experience:
Practical knowledge of
·Trees and
development
·Trees and damage to built structures
·Tree
selection and planting
·Inspecting trees on highways
·Ezytreev
software
·Confirm software
