Highways Enforcement Officer

Location: Kettering with some remote working available (2-days expected in office)
Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. 3-month contract
Pay: 15.07 per hour

As a Highways Enforcement Officer

• You will be helping to support the work of the Traffic Management Team, helping with the processing and issuing of licences allowing contractors to excavate the highway adhering to legislation.
• Assist with the issue of Temporary TROs for Highway works
• Identifying and writing to landowners who have encroached onto highway land, requesting for issues (ie: shrubbery overhanging to be cutback) resolved.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who can work individually as well as a member of a team. Has good communication skills to be able to understand the issues that are being raised and explain processes. Is able to maintain records in good order and can assist in the preparation of issuing invoices for services provided.
