Hot Stamping Press Technician

Responsibilities
- Communicate with Shift Supervisors to determine priority / urgency of a required repair
- Determine whether spares are required
- Feedback to Shift Supervisors
- Complete relevant paperwork e.g. Job Cards
- Prepare for future jobs
- Carry out any other duties, including overtime, relevant to the post which may arise.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-Development
Requirements / experience
- Apprenticeship trained in mechanical and electrical engineering (multi-skilled) & posess current PUWER (Press Regs) certification
- Must have relevant experience with industry std repair equipment ie. Lathes ,Millers, Shapers and hand tools etc.
- Experience in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Prior knowledge and experience of hot stamping processes.
- Robotic maintenance & programming experience.
Qualifications
- Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Maintenance or similar
- HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

The role is on 3 shifts and rotates as Mornings,
Nights, Afternoon (gives a slightly longer weekend between finishing
AM shift on the Friday and starting Nights on the following
Monday.
