Sygna offer services for both the end client and main contractor with regards to commissioning management, these separate appointments are categorised as Main Contractor Commissioning Manager (CxC or CxM) and Client sided Commissioning Agent (CxA).

Job Description

This role is based on ensuring that all matters related to HR are conducted seamlessly. The role is focussed on managing the activities undertaken within HR to support the business.

The role involves collaborating with other members of the administration, Legal and Finance teams to ensure that all aspects are appropriately covered.


Key Responsibilities:

HR Business Partner tasks (supported by HR Administrator) -

  • Support the Board in developing our People Reward & Recognition Strategies.
  • Maintain the staff banding and benefit matrix.
  • Line manage the Talent Acquisition and HR Admin team with the support of the Commercial Director.
  • Support the Board in respect of disciplinary actions and HR issues, interfacing with our external advisers where appropriate.
  • Work with Managing Director and Commercial Director to review HR processes and implement any appropriate change.
  • Review, develop and enforce people related policies.


Tasks collaboratively delivered with the HR Administrator -

  • Support the Sygna EMEA wellbeing programme.
  • Ensure all information required for UK and EU payrolls are obtained and uploaded.
  • Ensure our Probation, Starter and Leaver processes are seamless.
  • Maintain staff training and PDR trackers.
  • Issue employee change letters.
  • Immigration - collation of documents required by agents.


Support Responsibilities:

As HR Business Partner, you are expected to actively collaborate with the wider team on areas that are not within your direct responsibility.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a manager in an HR team.
  • CIPD Level 5 (Associate Diploma in People Management) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Work Environment:

The role is a mix of office and home-based work (minimum of 3 days per week in London office to include Wednesday and Thursday)
