Full Job Description

We’re growing our People team under one unified Leadership to include: L&D, Talent Acquisition, and all Business Partner elements of the business, for a well rounded and unified HR Strategy and vision focused around our people in a way that moves the business towards continued growth, innovation, and improvement. This role will support our teams across multiple departments and countries in Europe.

Responsibilities

The core of the role is championing our culture + our principles across multiple HR functional areas. On a regional level, you will help us assess and identify the best people practices, policies, or process improvements. We have a team that is aligned to our purpose and our sights are set on a clear mission. To help get us there, we’ve defined strong values and culture. You’ll ensure that they remain core to everything we do, including all of the following “people” areas:

People practices & Operations - building relationships with other departments on a “as needed basis” in order to execute on projects throughout the employee lifecycle (from onboarding to termination).

  • Responsible for onboarding and offboarding: offer letters, contracts, global policies, benefits, system and user employment updates, documentation, NDAs, updating payroll and finance about new hires and final payslips, HR administration and accuracy of records during employment lifecycle
  • Communicate compensation changes to payroll
  • Filing and follow-up regarding company staff policies and regional handbooks
  • Coordinate and negotiate with benefits brokers for benefit administration in in the region as well as annual renewals
  • Secures compliance with internal and external employment and labour standards, policies and practices

Organisational support - you’ll support our management teams in dealing with People issues in a balanced commercially minded and compassionate manner. You will also offer support to our employees and assist them with any employment issues they may raise.

  • Point of contact for all employee disputes and issues, working with K2 management to document, investigate and resolve or escalate as need be
  • Lead point on employee relations: Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues through effective and objective investigations including an understanding of allegations, analysis and documentation, and recommendations for conclusion and course of action.

Internal communication - partnering with the rest of the people team on internal communication aligned with global practices, charity initiatives, internal events, and others to drive engagement and adoption in the region.

  • Partners with all managers to influence and support an overall positive working environment that includes actions to secure strong co-worker relations.

Environment, Social and Governance projects - on a global level partnering with compliance, the people team, and the rest of the leadership team to define and execute on ESG related matters and certifications

Payroll

  • Working with Finance on completing payroll cycle on a monthly basis

Adhoc projects: support leadership in adhoc projects (eg. Ecovadis certifications, integrations of acquired companies, auditing UE records). You are able to see areas of need and come up with solutions.

Requirements and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity with a preference for experience in a professional services environment.
  • Experience across different european jurisdictions
  • Strong digital fluency and prior experience working with online employee populations
  • Strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously, willing to challenge the status quo
  • Supported leadership teams before and feel comfortable talking to a diverse range of stakeholders with different interests, perspectives and personalities
  • Comfortable and adept at navigating different cultures. Experience working with international teams
  • Fluent in English and at least one other european language

Offer: 9 months maternity cover contract + possible extension
