Full Job Description

  • Full-time position - 40 hours a week
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Location: Hybrid & City studio (the role also involves weekly travel to all our London studios.)


What you’ll do:

A vital part of the HR function and wider business, the HR & Recruitment Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment service, HR administration and coordination, and wider office support. They will be the first point of contact for all HR queries, write HR documentation, manage employee files, coordinate payroll, ensuring compliance at all times.


HR Support

  • Prepare HR documentation, e.g. offer letters, employee contracts and agreements, changes to T&Cs
  • Ensure employee documentation is accurate and signed; references, qualifications and insurance & DBS certificates are accurate and valid, alerting staff appropriately
  • Enforce and ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits to monitor policy adherence across teams
  • Collaborate with departments to address and rectify policy breaches
  • Maintain company HR system, ensuring all data is accurate at all times
  • Payroll: collate monthly salary information
  • Organise Company events and office parties
  • Manage stock-take of employee uniforms and place orders when stock is low


Recruitment

  • Provide in-house recruitment service for Ten in line with KPIs set
  • Create, edit or update job descriptions to ensure accuracy of role and relevance
  • Place ads on listed job boards; seek new boards that are relevant to the industry
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies as appropriate
  • Screen and shortlist CVs into the candidate pool
  • Conduct phone assessments/interviews
  • Coordinate in-person interviews with the manager
  • Conduct HR onboardings, ensuring all documentation is received/signed, demonstrating the use of systems, distributing uniforms, coordinating bios and taking photos for the website

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong assertiveness and communication skills to set and communicate expectations effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience as an HR administrator, HR assistant, Recruitment coordinator or relevant roles is a bonus
