Humanities Teacher

• Location: Ashington, Northumberland
• Salary: £130 to £170 per day
• Contract: Temporary, Full-Time
• Start date: ASAP

GSL Education invites applications for a Humanities Teacher position in Ashington, Northumberland. The successful candidate will teach subjects such as History, Geography, and Social Studies at various levels.

Job Summary:

• Teach Humanities subjects according to the curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative lessons.
• Assess and record student progress and prepare them for exams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Foster a stimulating learning environment.
• Engage with students to deepen their understanding of global cultures and histories.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate interdisciplinary approaches in teaching.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialty in Humanities.
• Experience teaching Humanities in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
