Owen Payne Recruitment are actively seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to join a leading agricultural, family-owned client located the Telford area.

Due to the nature of this role, previous experience as a Hygiene Manager is essential.

The Ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role
  • A HACCP Level 3 minimum
  • Food Hygiene Level 3
  • Knowledge of BRC
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience of dealing with retailer audits

Main Duties:

  • Ensuring the premises and all equipment is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition, whilst upholding the sites hygiene compliance
  • Leading a dedicated hygiene team, ensuring they are fully trained and multiskilled
  • Maintaining an 'audit ready' keeping of records
  • Monitoring cleaning results and investigate any of out of specification results
  • Working alongside chemical suppliers to ensure staff are receiving up to date training on current chemical usage and practices
  • Supporting with staff recruitment, selection, induction, training an development
  • Maintaining hygiene staff rotas
  • Carrying out the ordering of all chemicals and ancillary utensils for business use
  • Complying with all relevant legislation including health and safety requirements
