Pay Range: $92,204 - $126,017
Work Schedule: Full Time
Location: Suffolk, VA (2-Vacancies)
Duties:
- Responsible for evaluating IT systems and related functions to determine an organization’s cybersecurity readiness in accordance with U.S. government (USG), Department of Defense (DoD), USCYBERCOM/JFHQ-DODIN, Department of the Navy (DON) and other applicable policy guidance.
- Ensures a systematic process in assessing the integrity and availability of networks, software applications, architectures and configurations, and IT operational parameters.
- Assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls. Develops methods to monitor and
measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.
- Performs security reviews and identify security gaps in security architecture resulting in recommendations for inclusion in Navy’s risk mitigation strategies.
- Incorporates all available information to assess an organization’s cyber defense posture. Collects, drafts, and presents analysis of findings from inspections and completion of documentation to finalize inspection reports, reporting and archival of data as applicable
Condition of Employment :
- Must be a U. S. Citizen
- Able to obtain a Top-Secret w/ SCI Clearance
- Testing Designated Position (TDP): subject to pre-employment and random drug testing
- Frequent Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel required to CONUS and OCONUS sites and platforms up to 50%
