IT Manager - £45k - West Midlands

My client is currently recruiting for an IT Manager. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient IT Helpdesk/Services operations across the organisation. Your primary duties include managing and collaborating with their team members, as well as coordinating with the Network and Systems Team. The role involves travel for tasks like team management and meetings with key stakeholders.

Location: Herefordshire

Salary: £40k - £45k

Working Environment: 5 days a week on site

Duties:

• Oversee the IT team responsible for supporting the IT Hub
• Plan for the development, replacement, or renewal of IT infrastructure, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Provide timely and friendly IT support, covering 1st, 2nd, or 3rd response to issues
• Maintain hardware infrastructure, including printers and other network-attached devices.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders regarding IT services and support.
• Manage data backup and retrieval processes.
• Ensure software updates and patches are applied as needed through the patch management system.
• Handle hardware and software deployment and maintenance as needed.
