Our client is an MSP based in
the centre of Cheltenham who are looking to expand their team and need
an experienced IT guru to join their team. This is a really exciting
time to join them as they move into their next phase.
As
their IT Project Manager you will be responsible for managing and
executing IT infrastructure projects working closely with project
managers and technical teams overseeing and ensuring successful
project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Hours of work
for this IT Project Manager role are 37.5 per week with a salary on
offer of £40- £50k DOE. In addition, you will get access to a good

The roles and responsibilities of this IT Project Manager role
are:
·Implementing technical specifications. Gathering client
requirements for IT infrastructure projects through designing,
configuring and implementing network, server, storage, and security
solutions.
·Creating quotes for clients for various projects
liaising with account managers to facilitate project sign off.
·Configure and optimise IT infrastructure components such as
routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and storage devices to meet
project requirements and industry standards whilst also installing and
configuring operating systems, applications, and software updates.
·Work with clients and internal teams to develop improvement plans
and roadmaps for IT infrastructure, based on their business objectives
and requirements.
·Manage projects working closely with internal
and external stakeholders ensuring a timely delivery of IT projects
providing technical expertise, resource planning, and status updates
to project managers and clients.
·On occasion, provide level 3
technical support to clients both remotely and onsite.
The
ideal IT Project Manager will be able to display the following
qualities:
·Strong technical knowledge and experience in IT
infrastructure components such as networking, servers, storage,
virtualization and security firewalls.
·Proven experience in
managing IT infrastructure projects.
·Ability to assess and
analyse existing IT infrastructure identifying areas for improvement
and plans to enhance performance, security and reliability.
·Certifications such as MCSE, CCNP or VCP are desirable but not
essential.
·Excellent communication skills via phone and email.
