Red Recruitment is recruiting an IT Support Engineer with previous industry experience to join a Gloucester-based team. This role is dynamic in nature, covering all aspects of modern IT support and a great opportunity to join a hard-working team and further your engineering skills. The salary for this position is 30,000 - 34,000 per annum (depending on experience).
A full UK's driving licence is required due to the nature of the role.
Benefits and Package for an IT Support Engineer:
- Salary: 30,000 - 34,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm
- Contract Type: Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities of an IT Support Engineer:
- Providing helpdesk support (the company is a VAR for SMB's)
- Assisting clients with the migration of on-premises, to modern cloud-based systems
- Communicating with clients via telephone, video, email, and face-to-face visits in Gloucester and the surrounding areas
- Monitoring and managing remotely
Key Skills of an IT Support Engineer:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals is essential
- The ability to provide Microsoft 365 Systems Admin knowledge such as Share Point Admin Centre, Endpoint Admin Centre, Azure Active Directory and Endpoint
- Migration and Implementation support is essential
- A good working knowledge of modern window-based operating systems and networking is essential
- The ability to install Windows 11 OS and Windows Server OS and provide support is essential
- Understanding of IPv4 networking
- Knowledge of GDPR
- At least 4 years of industry experience
- Full UK driver's licence is required
