Description

Pacific Power Group is now hiring an IT Support Specialist to be our onsite IT support for our Kent, WA location.  


Job Overview: As a member of our IT Operations Team, you will leverage your skills in IT systems, tools and processes as well as communication, collaboration and team building to drive successful outcomes. To be successful in this role it requires you to execute with a spirit of continuous improvement. It is also important to listen and seek to understand and assimilate, but also form strong and informed opinions about what needs to be done to provide great customer service.

Wage Range: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.  

Requirements

Primary (Essential) Duties:   

  • Strong and collaborative member of the IT Operations Team providing Tier 1 & 2 support to end users.
  • Onsite in our Kent, WA location with occasional hybrid work and travel to other locations.
  • Respond to service requests and receive, classify and triage incidents including escalation as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues both in person and remotely - across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Maintain and update system, knowledge base and status information.
  • Be a fearless champion and provider of high-quality service and support.

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  

  • Strong understanding of IT systems, tools and service and support strategies.
  • Self-starter and detail oriented.
  • Thrive in a team-based IT support environment spanning multiple locations.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Works well independently and with a team.
  • Experience with Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, basic networking concepts, desktop support (hardware & software), ticketing systems, phone systems.

Experience/Education Requirements:  

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree or better preferred.
  • 4+ Years experience with IT Support & Ticketing Systems.
  • 4+ Years experience with Windows Systems, Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Intune/Autopilot/SCCM, cloud solutions, computer imaging, user hardware support, printer support.
  • 1+ Leadership experience in a IT support team is a plus.
  • Industry Certifications such as Comptia, Microsoft, Cisco are a plus.
