The Firm:
We are partnered with a unique UK fintech who provide a UK regulatory hosting platform alongside a platform for managing alternative Investment Funds - they are ideally looking for an individual with both Funds and Commercial experience to come in and work closely with the CEO (who is also a qualified lawyer) and Compliance/Risk function as the Legal counsel for the team.
About You:
You would need to be comfortable staying up-to-date with new laws and feel comfortable drafting documents, especially investment management agreements and related materials. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the managing directors and CEO, who is a solicitor and can provide additional training and insights. You may also work with external counsel as necessary to handle corporate and commercial matters effectively.
You will need:
- Circa 3+ years PQE Funds experience in either Private Practice or In-House.
- Strong Funds knowledge with understanding of FCA regulations.
- Well organised and attention to details.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (written/verbal).
- Proven ability to see issues and look at how to resolve or improve them.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and cross border.
