Role purpose


The objective of the Global Technical Services Business Partner is to manage the relationship with NCC Group business functions to drive IT roadmaps of work aligned to corporate strategy.


They will need to lead on technology solutions, from feasibility and assessment of options to maximise business benefit, through to the mobilisation of strategic projects and monitoring outcomes benefit realisation.


Where necessary they will need to facilitate the ideation and pipeline of work to ensure stakeholders are aligned and key decisions are made. They will also need to align teams and resources of upcoming roadmaps of work to enable prioritisation of initiatives.


The role will involve the enablement of delivery within multiple GTS IT teams, with assigned project managers having the responsibility to drive plans, status reporting and solution deployments.


It is essential they establish and maintain relationships with the appropriate stakeholders and provide day-to-day contact on project status and changes.


Key Accountabilities

  • Manage overall relationship with business stakeholders
  • Partner with business function and IT stakeholder to evaluate proposals, build business cases and ensure prioritisation
  • Responsible for shaping and managing the demand from business functions to drive IT roadmaps
  • Manages the engagement with enabling functions (security DA CoE) to ensure strategic design decisions are made and highlevel requirements captured.
  • Creates the pipeline for delivery teams (PMO Product MGMT) and aligns key resources
  • Oversees the approval of pipeline into delivery
  • Becomes the face of IT delivery to the business, partnering with Delivery Managers PM’s throughout the solution Lifecyle
  • Drive business case development with clear ROI and benefits realization measures
  • Track and monitor the benefits realization post implementation
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technology solutions to drive business benefit


Functional and Technical Skills

Essential

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building with direct contact at C-Level
  • Extensive background of requirements benefits analysis
  • Strategic roadmap building
  • Ability to think outside the box to establish pragmatic solutions to issues
  • Excellent organizational skills, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience of delivering successful application systems implementations
  • Understanding of project management tools and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a Cyber Security business
  • Experience of Escrow and contract management
  • Experience with Salesforce Workday SaaS solutions
  • Demonstratable experience of covering the complete project life-cycle, in a structured environments (both Agile and Waterfall)

Organisational skills – personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands are key.

Communication skills – Communicates in written, oral, and presentation formats to best represent and express user and organisational requirements to audiences up to mid-level management. Seeks first to understand and then be understood.

Working as part of a Team - Emotional intelligence, the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others is vital. Encourages and maintains a sense of fun.

Adaptability and Agility - Unperturbed managing activities across more than one project simultaneously. Able to adjust to the unexpected, intelligently and calmly assessing impact and options. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams both internally and externally.
