Innovation Manager

James Carrera of Digital Data Foundation is recruiting an Innovation Manager to define Innovation strategy, develop client solutions and driving the adoption, continuous improvement and culture of legal technology across the firm.

  Responsibilities

• Drive day to day business related action plans, initiatives and troubleshooting, ensuring actions are allocated to the relevant people and are acted upon
• Create and drive the internal communications agenda and plan
• Create ways of reporting on key innovation initiatives and projects and ensure regular reporting requirements are fulfilled
• Key stakeholder management, and ensuring and coordinating appropriate follow up
• Be a trusted business advisor having an understanding of the function they support, the dynamics of the team and the wider business in which they operate.
• Assist with / help coordinate and where necessary lead and deliver various initiatives / priorities / projects / events

Experience

You will have demonstrated experience within Change and Innovation projects, ideally in the professional or Legal services industry with ideally a project manager qualification or past experience in Legal Operations or Technology role.

• Demonstrated ability to influence and manage a diverse stakeholder group internationally
• Possess a high level of commercial acumen and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills - technically savvy, with good knowledge of IT Tools including advanced presentation skills and the ability to explain technical items in simple understandable terms
• Managing complexity, working with ambiguity, demonstrating a flexible and collaborative working style across functions and geographies
• Strategic thinking problem solver who is both responsive and proactive/ planning
• Anticipates problems and recommends / implements contingency plans in advance 
• Able to investigate issues and respond appropriately by gathering and evaluating different sources of information and by drawing on various resources with a high level of diplomacy
