This position supports our Process Division (PRO), which has moved to a brand new facility in Dayton, MN in the fall of 2022!  In this division, process equipment ( ) and sanitary systems ( ) are used in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and oil and gas industries.

Job Summary :

This person will serve as the primary inside sales contact for inbound inquiries from customers in our EMEA/APAC business unit. Responsibilities will include preparing quotations, making outbound phone calls, and supporting the EMEA/APAC commercial team as the liaison for the customer, and supporting the customer service team with email, written or telephone call follow-ups as required. This role is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility for extension following a review of the success of the candidate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Fields incoming technical sales calls from customers, prospects, and field sales representatives.

  • Answers technical questions from customers, prospects, and field sales representatives.

  • Designs and produces technical equipment proposals initiated by customers or field sales representatives.

  • Works with inside sales coordinator/customer service team to assist with workload as required.

  • Makes outbound phone calls to follow up on outstanding equipment proposals/leads and prospects for new business.

  • Helps to qualify leads for the field sales team.

  • Actively maintain a shared CRM database.

  • Expected to handle special projects on as needed basis, including attending trade shows, travelling with the field sales force, helping install equipment on site, training new personnel, and helping to assist in the production of sales tools.

  • Some travel required.

Qualifications and Prerequisites :

  • 4-year College degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Previous technical sales experience required, with willingness to obtain additional sales skills through company sponsored seminars, courses, outside reading, etc.

  • Technical and Sales aptitude required.

  • Familiarity with products, customer base, and markets a plus.

  • Very good written and verbal presentation and communication skills.

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be self-starter with the ability to work well with others.

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM desirable.

  • Ability to speak a second language a plus.
