Intellectual Property (IP) Project Manager

6-month initial contract

Hybrid working, based in Gaydon

28ph (Inside IR35)

About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking an IP Project Manager to join their team

Job Description

As Project Manager, your main responsibilities are:

  • To support the identification of intellectual property (IP) opportunities, across vehicle, product and brand designs.
  • Governing the IP identification for offboard, digital, branding, events and collaborations etc.
  • Design registrations, trademarks and patents.
  • Ensure that other company's protections are not infringed.
  • Manage the tight timings required e.g. programme management focus.

Qualifications / Skills required

  • Industry design knowledge (automotive preferential but not essential)
  • Legal knowledge of intellectual property requirements i.e. design registrations and trademarks
  • Project Management
  • Stakeholder Management
