Interim Corporate Counsel

Full Job Description

Highly regarded real estate investment manager is looking for a Corporate / Funds Counsel on a long term mat cover contract commencing from May through to at least July 2025. Mayfair based, 4 days/week in the office required.

Reporting to the General Counsel with regular interaction with the executive team and Board, you will be an integral part of a small, busy legal team responsible for:

• Fund related legal support including drafting relevant documentation, DD requests, assisting on fund raising activities and fund vehicle formation
• Drafting and negotiating intra-group loan and third party facility agreements, engagement letters
• General commercial contract drafting and review
• Advising on IP, employment and disputes
• Supporting the General Counsel on best practice governance and compliance matters
• Working closely with internal stakeholders across the business to deliver company strategy and objectives
• Instructing and maintaining relationships with external counsel

You will be 4+ years PQE as a guide with experience gained in private practice in a funds and/or corporate team ideally coupled with time spent in-house in a similar role. You will bring a hands-on, proactive approach and enjoy working collaboratively in a team based environment. Experience working on real estate funds would be advantageous.
