Internal Sales Engineer based in Ellend

The salary £20k – 30k - depending on experience

Role

To assess technical and commercial enquiries from customers prior to preparation and to ensure that the best technically and commercially sound offer is proposed.

Key Responsibilities

· To work with the external sales teams & agents to secure orders from customers in the region

· Correctly interpret customer’s requirements and offer an appropriate solution from our product range

· Contact customers at enquiry stage and in order to determine as much information as possible to help the business gain an order

· Develop an excellent working relationship with both existing and potential customers

· Ensure that orders are correctly entered into the system

·

· Provide customer support through all stages of the project

·

· Work to and manage customer expectations through the quoting process.This may require additional hours of work in order to meet deadlines

· Act in a confidential manner when dealing with the highly confidential departmental sales information.

Education and/or Experience:

· The Internal Sales Engineer should have a good educational background or have completed an engineering apprenticeship

· Proven experience in a customer focused sales environment (ideally in the valve industry)

· Should be highly motivated, self-starting, pro-active and customer focused

· Valve / process industry experience will be an advantage
