Full Job Description

The role: We’ve got an exciting opportunity to join us as our next Sales Operations Executive. You’ll proactively manage the Sales Operations side of our International accounts, helping to ensure that orders reach customers at the right place, the right price and at the right time, and that customers receive the best possible service. You’ll also be the Operations lead on a key account, understanding its unique requirements, processes and our systems. You’ll pre-empt, investigate and resolve any issues and will be a go-to person for systems and processes, training colleagues and responding to their queries.

Primarily, responsibilities will include:

  • Checking data such as stock availability and delivery dates.
  • Organising the International releases of embargoed titles with Logistics, ensuring that orders follow the agreed embargo schedule.
  • Preparing title lists for catalogue submissions, juggling priorities and deadlines
  • Covering for and assisting Sales Operations colleagues, including Sales Operations Manager, when necessary, helping to ensure the smooth running of the Sales Operations team.

What you’ll bring: To succeed in the role, you’ll need to be able to deliver excellent customer service and be able to anticipate the needs of others. You will have the ability to proactively pre-empt and resolve issues, particularly around supply, and to provide effective explanations to Sales teams when required. You’ll be able to build excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, and will be a team player willing to help others and contribute to a collaborative environment.

You’ll be working with a variety of different systems, so while we’ll be happy to introduce you to our world and provide training, you’ll show us that you’re comfortable with technology and keen to learn.  You will need to have worked with MS Office before; excellent Excel skills are central to this role.

The team: Sales Operations are involved in supporting the entire sales process from new title sell-in preparation to sales performance analysis. This means working closely with internal and external stakeholders, helping to ensure that orders reach customers at the right place, the right price and at the right time.
