Full Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Investor Relations professional to join our Business Development Team at BlueCove. In this broad role, you will play a key part in supporting BlueCove’s business development efforts and the delivery of first-class client service in our fast-paced and data-driven environment.

The Role

Your responsibilities with include:

  • Championing and managing our CRM and marketing documents systems (Salesforce and Seismic)
  • Responding to client and consultant questionnaires, including RFPs and DDQs
  • Responding to periodic queries from investors and prospects in a timely fashion
  • Assisting in producing and updating client presentations, factsheets, and communications within Seismic
  • Organising and hosting meetings with existing investors and prospective clients, including ODDs, IDDs and investment review meetings
  • Tracking asset flows for all funds and assisting clients and fund administrators throughout subscription (initial and subsequent flows) and redemption processes
  • Regular reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist the Sales Team in maintaining an accurate database of consultants and underlying investors
  • Ensuring your sales colleagues have a library of the latest documents available
  • Organising client events and webinars
  • General business development administrative tasks including sales support.
Essential Skills and Direct Experience with:
  • Maintaining/updating a presentation library in Seismic
  • Administering a CRM software tool (ideally Salesforce)
  • Completing RFPs and DDQs (ideally including experience with the AIMA DDQ) using RfP software (e.g., Loopio)
  • Maintaining/updating firm, client, and product statistics in Excel
  • Assisting in maintaining institutional client relations including organising & hosting meetings, especially ODDs, and responding to regular and ad-hoc queries and reporting requirements
  • Assisting clients throughout the subscription and redemption processes, plus experience with dealing with fund administrators and counterparties
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills (both within your team and with other departments)
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Strong detail orientation.
Desired Skills and Direct Experience with:
  • Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Zoom.
Essential and desired qualifications
  • A degree (or equivalent) in a STEM/business-related subject
  • Completion of the Investment Management Certificate is also desirable, but not essential.
